Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz or Expedia, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. However, if you’re using the American Express Platinum Card, you’ll need to book directly with the airline or through Amex Travel portal to get 5x MR points. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz or Expedia’s courtesy cancellation if you’re unable to get the time away from work or family.
La Compagnie, the 'boutique,' all-business class French airline has shared the details of its French Summer sale, and is offering tickets from Newark (EWR) to Paris (CDG) from just $1,299 round-trip. This is an incredible deal, as most business-class fares can cost upwards of double this price, especially during the summer months. Although La Compagnie doesn't offer a state-of-the-art business-class product like some other carriers, TPG had a good experience when he tried out the carrier.
Availability is wide open with discounted tickets seemingly available every day of the week from June through August 2017. You'll want to book through the carrier's website, but book quickly — the airline is only offering a total of 1,000 tickets in this sale.
