Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend that you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz or Expedia, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. However, if you’re using the American Express Platinum Card, you’ll need to book directly with the airline or through Amex Travel portal to get 5x MR points. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz or Expedia’s courtesy cancellation if you’re unable to get the time away from work or family.

United, Asiana and EVA Air are all running deals to the spectacular city of Hong Kong. Geographically packed onto a few small islands, Hong Kong is also packed full of activities. It’s an approachable city for Americans even if you’re traveling as a teen or looking for a father-son getaway. If you live in one of the departure cities— or can easily get to one — definitely consider utilizing these great fares to explore a truly world-class city.

Beware that EVA Air prices take a few seconds to populate when searching Google Flights, and flexible-date search options will not populate EVA Air fares. So you’re going to need to employ a bit of patience when searching these fares.

If you end up booking a EVA Air flight, make sure to say hi to Pepper at the entrance to the Taipei lounge.
