Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend that you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz or Expedia, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. However, if you’re using the American Express Platinum Card, you’ll need to book directly with the airline or through Amex Travel portal to get 5x MR points. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz or Expedia’s courtesy cancellation if you’re unable to get the time away from work or family.

We’re all feeling the love from JetBlue today. The carrier is currently offering travelers a Valentine’s Day flash sale, entitled “So Romantic” — pretty punny, if you ask us. The flash sale is advertising one-way fares from $54, however, we found fares from as low as $38 one-way.

Note that you must book by tomorrow, February 15, 2017, at 11:59pm ET, and travel must be completed between March 1 and May 24, 2017. For all cities involved in the flash sale, there are blackout dates of April 11 and April 12, and for Boston (BOS), Providence (PVD), Worcester (ORH), Hartford (BDL), Burlington (BTV) and Portland, Maine (PWM), there are also blackout dates of April 18 and April 19. If you’re able to find a favorable fare with this flash sale, take advantage soon, as it won’t be around for long.
