West Coast and MSP to Hawaii From $331 Round-Trip

Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend that you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz or Expedia, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. However, if you’re using the American Express Platinum Card, you’ll need to book directly with the airline or through Amex Travel portal to get 5x MR points. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz or Expedia’s courtesy cancellation if you’re unable to get the time away from work or family.

Deals to Hawaii are particularly rare, but today there are discounts to be had from several cities to the Aloha State. We're seeing fares as low as $331 round-trip from Minneapolis (MSP) to Honolulu (HNL). If you're based on the West Coast, you can score similar fares from San Diego (SAN), San Jose (SJC) and Oakland (OAK) to Maui (OGG). If you're flying from MSP, you'll fly on Delta and may have a stop in one or both directions, while if you're departing from California your flights will be nonstop on either Alaska or Hawaiian.

Flights are generally available from March through May, though exact availability depends on the departure city. We recommend doing a search on Google Flights for your desired itinerary and then completing booking on the airlines' sites.
