Paris-based all-business-class ’boutique’ airline La Compagnie is offering a companion promotion on business-class fares to Europe. Two people can fly between Newark (EWR) and Paris (CDG) for just under $3,000 round-trip when you book between now and January 15. Travel is valid for departures through February 28, and Valentine’s Day is included in the sale, so if you have a special someone that you’d like to take to the world’s most romantic city this could be a great way to get there in style.
La Compagnie offers a comfortable product that beats coach any day. Plus, $1,497 per person for a round-trip business-class ticket isn’t much more than summer prices to Europe in coach, and it’s significantly cheaper than what other carriers are offering on the same dates.
While you can’t earn miles in any major program on La Compagnie flights and you shouldn’t expect top-level service like you would on some other carriers, the prices are much lower than what you’d find on other carriers — the cheapest round-trip fare on a legacy carrier is almost $1,000 more than La Compagnie, and involves a stop in each direction. Note that Google Flights shows fares on La Compagnie (bookable through Expedia) for one person that cost just a few hundred dollars more than the promo price offered through the airline.
