Over the next four days, a new winter storm is expected to wreak havoc across the Midwest and into the Northeast. If you're traveling through these areas over the next few days, there's some good news: Many airlines have already issued flight change fee waivers, allowing you to rebook yourself on a different date or rerouting through a different airport.

If you get stranded at the airport, keep in mind that airlines aren’t responsible for paying for your meals or hotels when flights are delayed or cancelled due to weather. However, you might be covered by your credit card. Here are the top credit card that offer solid flight delay/cancellation insurance: Citi Prestige ($500 per passenger for 3+ hour delay), Chase Sapphire Reserve ($500 per ticket for 6+ hour or overnight delay) or Chase Sapphire Preferred ($500 per ticket for 12+ hour or overnight delay).
