If you're looking to take a quick trip to London for the holidays, these British Airways travel packages might be exactly what you need. You'll get to fly in BA Club World business class from New York to London, and enjoy a two-night stay at The Rembrandt hotel, from $1,999 per person.

Book your deal through British Airways' website by October 24 for travel dates between December 21, 2016, and January 8, 2017. The starting price of $1,999 per person is based two travelers with a New York (JFK) departure, although trips from Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, Baltimore and Chicago also start at the same per-person rate. You can also take advantage of the deal from Atlanta (from $2,249 per person), Austin (from $2,319 per person), San Diego (from $2,619 per person) and Seattle (from $2,889 per person). Hotels other than The Rembrandt are available for an additional fee as well. Here are some examples of what you can book:

New York (JFK) to London (LHR outbound; LGW inbound) Round-Trip in Club World + Two Nights at The Rembrandt, from $1,999 per Person:

If you were to normally book this same round-trip flight for two in Club World, it would cost $14,263, while a two-night stay at The Rembrandt for the same dates would be about GBP 285 (~$350). In all, for this booking, you'd save around $10,615 with BA's promotion.

New York (JFK) to London (LHR outbound; LGW inbound) round-trip in Club World + two nights at The Rembrandt for $1,999 per person.

Atlanta (ATL) to London (LHR) Round-Trip in Club World + Two Nights at the Rosewood London, from $2,530 per Person:

If you're leaving from Atlanta, this same round-trip flight for two in Club World would cost $16,505 while a two-night stay at the Rosewood London for the same dates run you GBP 832 (~$1,021), so you'd save about $12,467 with the BA promotion.

Atlanta (ATL) to London (LHR) round-trip in Club World + two nights at the Rosewood London for $2,530 per person.

Seattle (SEA) to London (LHR) Round-Trip in Club World + Two Free Nights at The Royal Horseguards, from $2,711 per Person:

If you're flying from Seattle to London, round-trip flights for two people in Club World would cost $18,689 while a two-night stay at The Royal Horseguards for the same dates would cost roughly GBP 518 (~$636). By booking with BA's promotion, you'd end up saving around $13,904.

Note that the packages are based on double occupancy, so single tickets aren't eligible for this offer. Any outbound travel must be completed between December 21, 2016, and January 2, 2017, and you must return by January 8, 2017. If you choose to remain in London beyond the included two-night stay, you'll have to pay for that separately.

Bottom Line

If you've been wanting to take a quick trip to London — especially during the holiday season — this could prove to be a very valuable promotion. As you can see from the examples above, there are definitely some sweet spots that could save you more than $13,000 in some cases. If you do decide to take advantage of this deal, book it with a card like the Chase Sapphire Reserve, which earns you 3x points on all travel purchases.

A word of caution if you're planning to book with an Amex Platinum card: Although you'll be purchasing the package through the British Airways website, it's unclear if it'll be officially coded as "airfare." Therefore, it's not known if you'd end up earning 5x points on airfare like you normally would when booking a flight directly through the airline with this card. If you're going to be testing it out for yourself, let us know what you find!
