Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend that you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. Several airlines are competing heavily on the US to South Pacific routes. We are seeing availability from Los Angeles (LAX) and San Fransisco (SFO) to Sydney (SYD), Melbourne (MEL), Auckland (AKL) and possibly more cities. Flights at this price are available starting in August and go through the end of schedule in May, with the Christmas period being blacked out. With this deal, it's possible to fly on American, Delta, United, Air New Zealand, Virgin Australia and Qantas (all of the major carriers flying to the South Pacific).
