JetBlue Offers Massive Two-Day Fare Sale from $34 Each Way
Update: Some offers mentioned below are no longer available. View the current offers here.
JetBlue is known for amazing flash sales and good customer service. While this sale doesn't include $30 transcontinental flights, many short and medium-haul routes in its network are heavily discounted for summer and fall travel. Popular destinations like Nantucket (ACK), Martha's Vineyard (MVY) and Nassau, Bahamas (NAS) are insanely cheap. Better yet, availability is pretty wide open on many routes and you can use True Blue points for terrific value. Be sure to book before the sale ends on June 29 at midnight ET.
A great example of this is a one way flight from Fort Lauderdale (FLL) to Nassau (NAS) which costs $38.90 one way with the sale. You can also redeem 900 points + $5.60 in taxes. When you subtract the taxes on the award ticket, ($33.30/900 points) = 3.7 cents per mile value; this is unheard of for True Blue points which TPG values at between 1 and 1.4 cents each. Most other routes available on the sale can be redeemed with points for around 2 cents per mile each, so definitely make sure to check what the point cost is as well.
