Starwood just launched another points promotion for guests. The hotel chain often awards its guests bonus points for completing certain tasks, ranging from trying out SPG Keyless to staying at a new Tribute Portfolio property. This latest promotion is a bit simpler than most – through the end of the year, SPG members can earn 2,015 Starpoints for simply registering online before your next stay.
TPG values Starpoints at 2.5 cents apiece, so you can potentially get more than $50 in value out of this promotion — a pretty good deal if you already have a stay planned at a Starwood property. Keep in mind that like other SPG promotions, you can expect your points to post within 2-4 weeks of the end of the offer. Remember to also register for SPG's Fall 2015 to earn double Starpoints on your stays through December 20.
