As you may have heard, American Airlines is launching nonstop service from Los Angeles to Sydney on December 17. The airline will operate a 777-300ER on the route with daily service. Given the tremendous exchange rate, it couldn’t be a better time for AA to introduce its first Australia flight.
Now, to get its new flight back into the news cycle and perhaps to help boost bookings, AA is offering an opportunity to earn up to 90,000 bonus AAdvantage miles when you fly round-trip.
You can see the full breakdown above. In order to earn the maximum bonus, you’ll need to fly three round-trips in business or first class, with flights sold by American, booked in F, A, P, J, R, D or I class and operated by AA or Qantas. You can also earn bonus miles from coach flights — you’ll get 15,000 miles per round-trip booked in premium economy (on Qantas) or full-fare economy (Y, B or H class) on either airline, or 5,000 bonus miles per round-trip booked in K, M, L, W, V, G, Q, N, O or S economy fare classes.
You must register by May 31, 2016, using promo code AUS16 and travel between February 1 and May 31, 2016 to take AAdvantage.
