We’re offering a chance to win a $500 American Express gift card for this week’s Thursday Giveaway, in honor of the current limited time offer on the Starwood Preferred Guest Credit Card from American Express.

Through September 14th, new cardholders can earn a sign-up bonus of 30,000 Starpoints after spending $3,000 in the first 3 months. That’s enough for a free night at the Westin Paris – Vendôme (leaving you with a fair amount of points to spare) or longer stays in lower-level Starwood properties like Le Méridien Bangkok.

Starpoints are among the highest rated currencies with a value of 2.5 cents per point. The card nets you bonus points for spending at Starwood hotels, and offers savings abroad with the newly introduced benefit of no foreign transaction fees.

You must enter the giveaway below no later than 11:59pm ET on Monday, September 7.
