Per One Mile at a Time, there are currently some amazing deals on flights from Washington Dulles- Beijing on American Airlines for $462 round-trip in Business Class including all taxes and fees during the month of May 2015, with a three night minimum stay.
The best way to search for dates is to head over to Google Flights where you can get a calendar view. You’ll see many dates available in May.
Then you can head over to American Airlines, where you can book these fares.
If you’re wondering about upgrades, since this is booked into business class, if you’re an American Executive Platinum member, you could use your systemwide upgrades to upgrade to First Class. As a reminder, American Airlines is also offering a bonus on purchased premium fares in 2015, which these fares would qualify for.
If you’re looking to earn even more miles, pay by using a card that maximizes airfare purchases, like 3x on airfare with the American Express Premier Rewards Gold or 2x on the Chase Sapphire Preferred. Check out this post for more on maximizing airfare purchases.
If you plan to go to China, you’ll need a Visa and our friends at Allied Passport & Visa will be glad to assist.
Report your success if you can actually snag any of these!
