If the start of the busy Spring Break season isn’t what comes to mind when thinking about cheap, last-minute flights, then think again. Virgin America is currently offering 20% off all flights from March 6 until April 29, 2015 — a great opportunity for a last minute deal! Act fast, because this offer is only valid through Sunday, March 1, 2015
Using the code ESCAPE20 you can search for last-minute fares on all of Virgin America’s routes. The code is good for a discount of either 10% or 20% depending on the day of travel. The discounts are as follows:
- 10% off for flights Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays
- 20% off for flights Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays

Virgin America has some great Spring Break destinations in its route network. If you’re a budget traveler looking for a deal or simply looking to escape the brutal cold that some parts of the country have endured these last few weeks, this promo is a great opportunity to escape to a sunny destination. Cities such as Palm Springs, Cancun, and Ft. Lauderdale are included in this offer, but make sure to act fast, because inventory is limited.
This promotion also offers a great opportunity to get discounted transcontinental fares. Flights from NYC to both Los Angeles and San Francisco are among the lowest I’ve seen in some time.

As always, be sure to maximize your points earnings by using a credit card that offers bonus points for travel purchases, such as the Chase Sapphire Preferred card.
If you’re able to get in on this promotion, please share your triumphs in the comments below!
