Hyatt Introduces New Hotel Brand Hyatt Centric
Hyatt Centric is a new hotel brand geared toward “lifestyle explorers,” a modern generation of travelers who (according to Hyatt) are both savvy and curious. Hyatt Centric will be aimed at both business and leisure travelers, and is the sixth brand Hyatt has added to its portfolio since 2006. The brand will focus on the “must-haves” and the “less-is-more” concept, and seems to be pet-friendly but not child-friendly.
Several of the locations are not actually new properties, but a re-branding of other old properties, and the focus seems to be on urban locations. The first Hyatt Centric hotels will be in Paris, New York, Miami, Chicago, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Park City, Houston, Key West, Santa Barbara, Long Beach and San Francisco.
