American Airlines has teamed up with Cadillac to offer an airport transfer program in which high value customers (namely, Concierge Key members) with tight connections will receive tarmac transfer services to their next departure gate.
American and Cadillac currently offer a luxury airport transfer program at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and will be expanding to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, New York’s LaGuardia Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport by the end of the year. The fleet of cars includes the Cadillac CTS, SRX or Escalade.
Suzanne Rubin, President of the AAdvantage Loyalty Program, indicated that this partnership has room to grow, so perhaps we’ll see Cadillac airport transfers at other American/US Airways hubs (such as Phoenix, Charlotte, or Chicago O’Hare), or even have this benefit extended to Executive Platinum members.
In addition to this new plane-side transfer perk, Cadillac is also offering a promotion for all AAdvantage members who take a test-drive. AAdantage members will earn 7,500 AAdvantage miles when they test drive a Cadillac at a dealership.
Delta currently offers Porsche transfers for Delta 360 members in Atlanta, Los Angeles, and New York; and United offers a tarmac transportation option for select Global Services members and United Global First customers who have tight connections.
