Update: Some offers mentioned below are no longer available. View the current offers here.
Starwood has a strong history of weaving music into their guests experiences, including the partnership with W Hotels Global Music Director Michaelangelo L'Acqua and the release of the multiple albums including Symmetry. Today, Starwood Preferred Guest announced an interesting new music series with Live Nation Entertainment called Hear The Music, See The World. This year-long initiative will launch June 5, 2014, and bring unique musical performances to Starwood properties around the world, highlighting each of the nine Starwood brands. Each performer involved will give a one-off, intimate in-hotel concert, and was specially selected to match with a hotel brand and city. Some of the participating artists include Capital Cities, Jason Mraz, Janelle Monae and Kellie Pickler among several others.
The launch comes with a slew of news, including the opportunity to bid on these experiences with the SPG Moments plus a sweet $50 Ticketmaster gift code for every two eligible nights booked and completed through May 31st (eligible nights are those that earn Starpoints) booked using SPG apps for iPhone, iPad or Android. Additionally, for the next week and a half through April 13th, members will be entered into a daily sweepstakes to win a $50 Ticketmaster Ticket Cash code for any eligible booking via the SPG apps for iPhone, iPad and Android.
In celebration of this, we're giving one lucky TPG reader the opportunity to win a pair of tickets to a performance of their choice! To enter, comment on this post or on our Facebook page about what your favorite Starwood property is why. Perhaps it's the W Vieques Retreat and Spa or the Four Points Barcelona. Whatever it is, enter by by 5pm ET on Monday, April 7 to be eligible. You can only enter once per medium. The winner will be chosen at random and announced next week.
And the Winners of Last Week’s Prize of 2 passes to the American Airlines Admirals Club is….
Last week, we discussed that American Express The Platinum Card® from American Express and The Business Platinum Card® from American Express cardholders would no longer include the benefit of American Airlines Admirals Club lounge access (nor US Airways Club access) and asked what you'll miss the most about the access.
TPG Reader Nini said "I will miss the ability to sit, catch my breath and relax in between flights during long layovers. Really needed it when heading back and forth to Chile from Maine to visit family." Congrats Nini, hopefully you'll enjoy the tranquility of the Admirals Club next time you're heading down to Chile!
