Because I had such a great experience flying to London last week, for the current Thursday Giveaway, I decided to give one lucky TPG Instagram follower 20,000 British Airways Avios deposited into their Executive Club account, which is enough for a one-way economy award ticket on Aer Lingus from New York JFK, or almost enough for a roundtrip award ticket in economy from Boston to Dublin (which requires only 25,000 Avios!) thanks to BA’s distance-based awards.

To enter, all you had to do was follow me on Instagram “like” photos I took with the various “lucky charms” I hashtagged #tpgluckycharm.

As you could see from my Instagram feed, I was having a great time, and finding lucky charms everywhere I happened to go, and a lot of you were following my every move, making suggestions and having (almost) as good a time as I was.

Today’s winner is @karlhumble, and he seems to be quite the jetsetter himself, with recent visits around the Pacific Northwest, Boston, DC, Austria, Slovakia, Germany and more – so hopefully he’ll find that these Avios come in handy for booking some trips in the future – and if he does, I hope he’ll tell us where he uses them to go.

If you didn’t win, remember that the British Airways Visa Signature Card from Chase is currently being offered with a sign-up bonus of 50,000 Avios when you spend $3,000 in the first 3 months and the $95 annual fee, so you can rake in enough Avios to fly Aer Lingus roundtrip business class from the sign-up bonus alone.
Thank you to all who participated, and stay tuned for more great giveaways here on the site, via my Twitter and Facebook feeds, and, of course via Instagram like this week’s…and may the luck of the Irish be with you.
Sign-up Successful!
