As we reported back in November, Hilton HHonors has just announced the return of the “Any Weekend Anywhere” promotion that offers discounted rates at many properties around the world. The great thing is that the discounts are valid through the end of next year, and you have until January 31, 2013 to make a reservation (or February 14th in Asia). They have also added a twist that offers members double stay credit towards elite status on stays of two nights or longer.

The discount varies by region:

Just to get people booking more before the promo ends, Hilton is going to hold a one-day flash bonus sale tomorrow where HHonors members can earn bonus points for each stay.

Starting at 11:00am ET on Wednesday January 16, you can register here for the 24-hour flash bonus offer. To earn the bonus, you just have to book a stay with the Any Weekend Anywhere Sale and you’ll still get the savings up to 40% (though in many cases it seems to be closer to 25%) at participating hotels throughout 2013. Then once you complete your stay, you’ll get 2,500 Hilton HHonors bonus points for every weekend you book.

While I’m certainly not blown away by the discounts, at least you get those bonus HHonors points for booking tomorrow, so if you have upcoming weekend plans – President’s Day, Easter, etc., that you know won’t be changing, you might as well get in on it.
