100 Free AA Miles and up to 1,000 with AAdvantage eShopping
Now through February 3rd, American AAdvantage members have the opportunity to earn up to 1,000 bonus miles with AAdvantage eShopping. AAdvantege members will receive 100 free miles just for signing up, 300 miles with their first purchase through the portal, and 600 bonus miles for spending $100 through the portal. These miles are in addition to the normal miles earned for shopping through the AAdvantage eShopping mall.
AAdvantage eShopping is American's online shopping portal, which is an intermediary site where you click through to popular retailers’ sites and in doing so, a cookie is stored on your computer and you get bonus miles for every dollar you end up spending.
To earn the 100 American Airlines AAdvantage bonus miles, you must have enrolled in the AAdvantage eShopping mall during the bonus offer period and remain opted-in to receive marketing emails from the AAdvantage eShopping program until the bonus miles post to your AAdvantage account.
To earn the 300 bonus miles, you must make a qualified purchase with a participating online merchant through the AAdvantage eShopping mall website during the bonus offer period.
To earn the 600 bonus miles, you must make a second qualified purchase of $100 or more with a participating online merchant through the AAdvantage eShopping mall website during the bonus offer period.
Allow 8-10 weeks following the end of the bonus offer period for AAdvantage bonus miles to post to your AAdvantage account.
While 100 miles isn’t going to get you close to an award trip, it’s a great way to keep your miles active (since AA miles expire after 18 months of no activity). Remember every mile counts!
