You may very well be sick of hearing Christmas tunes by now, but I promise this one’s brief — and if you’re an aviation geek, totally worth your time. TAP Portugal tasked one of its Airbus A330s (CS-TOQ, which even made several US trips this week) with performing Jingle Bells using only sounds captured on the aircraft.
Amazingly, the plane (and its passengers and crew) managed to hit all the right notes — everything from the fasten seatbelt ding to ice cubes dropping into a glass played a role in the song. It’s a cute way for TAP to deliver some holiday cheer while also drumming up a bit of positive PR, which is no easy task for an airline in winter.
Where in the world are you celebrating Christmas 2015? Even after the introduction of the Chase Sapphire Reserve, the Chase Sapphire Preferred is still a fantastic choice if you want to avoid the Reserve’s $450 annual fee, earn 2x on all travel & dining and earn a 50,000 point sign up bonus.
