If you’re familiar with Gilt City, you’re probably used to seeing discounted brunch vouchers, juice cleanses and yoga sessions — along with the occasional off-season escape to the Hamptons. Tomorrow, however, Gilt is stepping up its game significantly, with a fantastic deal from Cathay Pacific. For $5,000, you’ll be able to book a round-trip flight to Hong Kong from New York, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles or San Francisco, in Cathay’s excellent 777-300ER first class.

Gilt is marketing this as a 75% discount, and while you’ll pay roughly $20,000 if flying from Boston, nonstop flights from New York City run nearly $30,000 round-trip. Chicago round-trips, meanwhile, can be had for as little as $11,000, while Los Angeles and San Francisco departures cost roughly $16,000 each. Anyway you look at it, however, you’re getting a big discount — and your purchase includes a $500 Gilt shopping credit, too. Note that these tickets do not earn any miles.

Of course, $5,000 is still a lot to spend, and you can get Cathay Pacific first class for much less by taking advantage of buy miles promos, such as the 50% bonus currently available from Alaska Airlines. You can also book Cathay first using American miles earned with cards like the Citi / AAdvantage Platinum Select World Elite MasterCard, which is currently offering 50,000 miles after you spend $3,000 in the first three months.

If you’re booking an award ticket, though, there needs to be award availability, which can be very difficult to come by, especially if you’re trying to score seats for multiple people. For this Gilt deal, there are apparently no blackout dates, however “The limited number of seats for the subject fare allocated to a particular flight may be fully booked although seats are still available in other fare types in the same class of travel.” Unfortunately the offer doesn’t state which fare class would be required. Flights must be booked by December 31, 2015, these tickets don’t earn any mileage, and other terms and conditions apply.

If you’re interested, plan to jump on this as soon as the deal goes live tomorrow — the supply may be very limited, and appealing Gilt City deals tend to sell out quickly.
