Great news for those who love points and miles and shopping for bargains: As of this month, online retailer eBay has partnered with the airline shopping portals for Alaska, American, Southwest and United, allowing you to earn points and miles on your purchases. And now, to celebrate eBay’s 20th year in business, these shopping portals are offering limited-time bonus promotions.

Here are the current portals/offers — to shop, simply follow the below links and click through to eBay:

Simply click through from the shopping portal to your eBay account and start shopping!
Simply click through from the shopping portal to your eBay account using the Shop Now button/

Note that the terms and conditions for each portal state that the points and miles earnings are not eligible for purchases on eBay gift cards, vehicles, real estate, heavy machinery, bullion and charity items, but are eligible on the portal’s Winning Bid and Buy It Now purchases up to $5,000.

To earn these bonus points and miles, you’ll have to visit your chosen airline’s shopping portal linked above, login with your airline loyalty account info, search for retailer eBay and click the Shop Now button, taking you through to eBay. Thereafter, when you shop on eBay, a cookie will track your purchases and automatically earn you bonus points or miles.

These bonus offers are great, especially if you take advantage the ones offering 3x miles. A $1,000 eBay purchase through the AA shopping portal could earn you 3,000 AAdvantage miles if you shop while the limited-time offer is valid, plus whatever miles you’d get for paying with a credit card. For example, if you use your Gold Delta SkyMiles Credit Card from American Express to purchase, you’ll also earn 1,000 Delta SkyMiles on top of the 3,000 AA miles. A definite win-win, especially if you’re an avid eBay shopper.

Now, get shopping, since most of these offers are for a limited time only!
