Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend that you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz’s courtesy cancellation if you’re unable to travel.
There have been some awesome deals for travelers going to Central America this week. We’ve seen flights to Costa Rica on United starting at $193, as well as some similarly priced fares to Belize from $196 on Delta. If you weren’t able to get on any of those deals, there are a couple more available today to El Salvador and Nicaragua.
The cheapest flights we found are on Delta starting at $293 to San Salvador, El Salvador (SAL) from Philadelphia (PHL). The flights to El Salvador are limited, but there are many more opportunities to Managua, Nicaragua. These are a bit more expensive, with fares starting at $304 from Charlotte (CLT), Dallas (DFW), Phoenix (PHX), Philadelphia (PHL) and more.
The deals appear to available on limited dates, mostly in September and October.
