Amazing Deal Alert: Flights to Hong Kong from $493

Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend that you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz’s courtesy cancellation if you’re unable to travel.

Back in May we saw fares to Hong Kong starting at $515 round-trip, but today’s Air Canada deal has those beat. You can fly from Boston, Chicago, Portland and Seattle to Hong Kong with one stop in each direction for between $493 and $593 round-trip. All transpacific flights are operated by Air Canada, but you might be flying United between the US and your Canadian gateway. These fares are available for departures from September through November, though you can book your return flight all the way through the end of the schedule in May 2016.

These flights book into the “L” fare class, which earns 50% redeemable miles and 100% premier-qualifying miles on overseas segments if credited to United MileagePlus. Because you need to book these flights through Air Canada, however, you won’t earn PQDs.
