Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend that you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz’s courtesy cancellation if you’re unable to travel.
Last week’s airfare deals to Asia continue this week with a few cheap fares to Taipei. United has flights starting at $595 for a round-trip to Taipei from Dallas (DFW), with slightly pricier $599 fares available from Miami (MIA). Flights are also available from other major airports, including Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), Newark (EWR) and Chicago (ORD) for $740-$800, depending on your origin. You’ll normally spend twice as much for flights to Taipei, so this is a great deal. Discounted flights are available on select dates throughout this fall.
Here are a few examples of what we found:
Dallas (DFW)-Taipei (TPE) for $595 on United (15,840 PQMs):
Miami (MIA)-Taipei (TPE) for $599 on United (17,654 PQMs):
Newark (EWR)-Taipei (TPE) for $744 on United (16,176 PQMs):
