Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend that you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. Note: To take advantage of this deal, you’ll need to join AARP and book through AARP’s British Airways portal.

Earlier this month, we shared business-class airfares to Paris from $1,200 round-trip. That deal has since expired, but another exciting option has popped up in its place. From late June through early October, you can fly round-trip from New York City to pretty much any destination in Spain for well under $2,000 round-trip — in business class. What makes this deal especially exciting, though, is that you can pair it with AA’s bonus miles promotion, letting you earn up to 115,000 additional AAdvantage miles or 115,000 additional British Airways Avios on transatlantic flights through August 7.

We found airfares just over $1,600 between New York City (JFK) or Philadelphia (PHL) and Barcelona (BCN), Ibiza (IBZ), Madrid (MAD), Palma (PMI) and a handful of other cities. You can even fly to Tenerife in the Canary Islands (TFS) for just $1,754 round-trip. Or, if you’d like to explore more of Europe, you can book this fare as an open jaw and fly into Madrid and out of Paris for $1,881. The catch with all of these airfares is that you need to book through AARP’s British Airways portal — you’ll receive a $400 discount on all business-class fares, which is already factored into the prices above. Fortunately, anyone can join AARP instantly, with memberships available for $16 per year. See this post for instructions on how to book.
