Each year, Valentine’s Day provides hotels with the perfect opportunity to create custom-themed packages that run the gamut from fun to exquisite—and even downright naughty. For couples seeking a romantic escape for the holiday, TPG Contributor Michele Herrmann presents a bouquet of hotel packages for Valentine’s Day that feature everything from specialty touches to way over-the-top perks.
“The Perfect Proposal,” The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester. This package definitely takes the (wedding) cake for couples ready to take the next big step. The pre-betrothed will head to Tiffany & Co.’s showroom at The Westchester Mall for a private ring shopping experience, then spend the night in the expansive Ritz-Carlton Suite (with access to complimentary overnight parking and in-room breakfast). In addition to the “Time Together” couple’s massage at the hotel’s intimate spa, the couple will enjoy a private dinner for two at the Dream House, a 5,000 square-foot private residence on the hotel’s 40th floor that offers sexy views of New York City and the Hudson Valley. Cost: room package, $2,500, exclusive of applicable taxes; minimum spend of $20,000 for Tiffany & Co. store closure.
“Have It All Under the Desert Stars,” JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa.
