You can earn up to 3,000 Starpoints for every Sheraton Club stay when you book with your American Express card. During this promotion, guests who book Sheraton Club will be rewarded with 500 Starpoints for a one-night stay, 1,000 Starpoints for a two-night stay, and 3,000 Starpoints for a consecutive three-night stay until November 30, 2014. You can earn these bonus points at over 350 Sheraton Club locations around the world. You must register for the offer before you stay.
Save 20% and Get 1,000 Bonus Points Per Stay When Booking at BestWestern.com
You can save up to 20% at participating Best Western hotels with the Internet-only rate, and Best Western Rewards members can earn 1,000 bonus points for each qualified stay through November 23, 2014. Best Western Rewards Gold, Platinum and Diamond Elite members receive an additional 500 bonus points per stay. The number of points earned during the promotion is unlimited for all members. To become a member, you can first sign up here, and you must also register for the promotion.

You can purchase points in increments of 1,000:
- 1,000 – 10,000 points for $13.50 per 1,000 points
- 11,000 – 25,000 points for $12.50 per 1,000 points
- 26,000 – 60,000 points for $11.50 per 1,000 points
The bonus structure is as follows:
- Buy 1,000 to 49,000 points and get 50% more points
- Buy 50,000 to 60,000 points and get 100% more points
Members may purchase a maximum of 60,000 points per calendar year and receive as a gift a maximum of 60,000 points per year.
JetBlue’s TrueBlue Loyalty Program Lowers Minimum Award Price
JetBlue announced that they would be lowering the minimum award requirements for TrueBlue members. One way flights to JetBlue destinations previously started at 5,000 points, but now you can start redeeming for just 3,500 points (+ 5.60 taxes/fees). Of course, availability for these cheaper awards may not be plentiful, but it’s nice to hear some good loyalty program news instead of more devaluations.
Alitalia Millemiglia Offers 50% Bonus on Purchased Points
If you buy Alitalia miles before September 30, 2014, you will receive up to 50% more miles. The bonus is tiered with amounts below:
- Buy 1,000 – 4,000 Miles = No Bonus
- Buy 5,000 – 9,000 Miles = 15% Bonus
- Buy 10,000– 29,000 Miles = 35% Bonus
- Buy 30,000 – 39,000 Miles = 45% Bonus
- Buy 40,000 Miles = 50% Bonus
MilleMiglia members can buy miles in increments of 1,000. Members may purchase or receive up to 40,000 miles each year.
Reminder: Earn Up to 35,000 Bonus Miles Flying To/From London with United or Air Canada
You can earn up to 35,000 bonus miles (Aeroplan or Mileage Plus–you choose) when flying between London and the U.S. or Canada on United or Air Canada. The promotion allows you to earn:
- 7,500 bonus miles for your first round trip
- 10,000 bonus miles for your second round trip
- 17,500 bonus miles for your third round trip
For United, earn bonus award miles on nonstop flight segments flown between the U.S. or Canada and London in fare classes F, A, J, C, D, Z, P, Y, B, M, E, U, H, Q, V and W. For Air Canada, earn bonus award miles on nonstop flight segments flown between the U.S. or Canada and London in fare classes W, S, T, L, K, F, M, U, H, Q, V, Y, B, E, N, O, C, D, Z, P and J.
You can choose to book your miles to Aeroplan or to Mileage Plus, but you must first register for your preference (you can only choose one). You must travel between September 23-December 12, 2014.
