IHG Rewards always has an ongoing list of special little promos under its Offers page that pretty much any member can sign up for as long as they have the specific promo code. These often aren’t advertised the way their major quarterly promos like the current Big Win one are, so you have to know the code to enter. There are usually about a half-dozen going on at once, and what’s even better – you can usually stack them.

Screen Shot 2014-03-27 at 4.16.55 PMThe one that caught my eye at the moment is going on now through May 30, 2014, where for every stay, you can earn 1,000 bonus points. There’s no limit to the number of stays or bonus points you can earn – so if you are a business traveler who makes quick trips or taking a trip in the next few months that will have you hotel hopping, you could earn a few bonus points on top of your normal haul.

In order to register, visit this page and enter the promo code 1036 – the promo code should automatically populate on the page, but just in case it doesn’t, you can manually enter it. Then when you log into your IHG account and go to your offers, you should see it listed and can click on it to display your progress.

Screen Shot 2014-03-27 at 3.49.42 PMIf you only have one stay during the promo period, better to register here with the promo code 1034 for 1,500 bonus points on a single stay between now and May 30, 2014.

If you can plot out your stays accordingly and know for sure when you have paid stays coming up, you can also sign up for a few other stackable offers.

This Anniversary Bonus Offer (promo code 4644) will net you 1,000 on one paid stay within 90 days of registering.

This 1,000 Point Bonus will offer you 1,000 points on every stay within 60 days of registering with the promo code 5000.

Screen Shot 2014-03-27 at 4.05.44 PMThis New Stay Bonus will earn you 1,500 points on your next paid stay within 90 days with promo code 4040.

This Welcome Back Bonus earns you 1,500 points on your next paid stay within 90 days with promo code 4996.

This Elite Member Bonus is 3,000 points on one stay within 90 days of registering, though it looks like you need to have elite status to qualify with code 3050.

Those are the current promo codes I found that are still working. Some have been around for a while so if you’ve already registered with your IHG account, you will not be able to again, but if you haven’t yet and you have some stays coming up, you should register now so you can stack these bonuses. I’m sure there are others floating around out there that might still be valid, so if you have those, please feel free to share the promo codes in the comments below.

And remember, earning a few thousand extra points on a stay might not seem like much, but with IHG’s PointBreaks awards, you can score hotel awards for as little as 5,000 points per night, so stay one night and get one night free at one of the participating properties could be worthwhile!

Thks TPG – I did a mattress run at a CS with stacked codes, $80-something bill, netting about 18500 points.

Will these stacking codes not work if I’m going through UR to get an extra 3pts?

This is a great discovery! I’m glad I found your web page. Wonder why IHG doesn’t promote these promos on their web pages?
