New Airline Tray Table Designs Make Using Technology Easier: A company called SmartTray International is partnering with Northridge-based Satterfield Aerospace to develop tray tables for airplanes that will have new features, tweets @LATimesTravel. Some of the new features consist of a groove in the tray table to place your tablet in, or a clip to add your tablet into the tray’s upright position (making it easier/safer to use to takeoff/landing).

The new service lobby offers personalized check-in and travel services to members of United’s Global Services program and to customers traveling on long-haul international flights in United Global First. For these elite customers lucky enough to gain access, entry is through the lobby area via the Premier Access entry point at Door 4 of the Terminal C mid-level departures area.
