American Airlines Offers 2,500 Mile Discounts On Award Tickets From Los Angeles and Las Vegas: American Airlines has an economy award discount of 2,500 miles for one-way awards or 5,000 miles roundtrip awards from/to Los Angeles and Las Vegas for flights within the continental US. This promotion is valid between February 6 and April 4, 2014, but the ticket must be issued by February 27. The Los Angeles offer is only valid for non-stop flights, but the Las Vegas terms and conditions don’t have this requirement. No registration required, simply book your ticket and fly.
Emirates Skywards Offers Up To 36,000 Bonus Points On New Boston Route: Emirates is offering up to 36,000 bonus miles for roundtrip tickets booked on their new route, launching in March. The amount of bonus miles you get varies based on when you book and the fare class of your ticket. You can see the amount of miles you can earn here as the sooner you book, the more miles you can earn. The dates are very specific-you must register between February 12-22, 2014, book between February 13-22, 2014, and travel between March 10-June 30, 2014.
Starwood Offers SPG Members 35% Savings And Complimentary Breakfast At Select Properties: 500 Starwood hotels and resorts throughout North and Latin America are offering a 35% savings on paid room rates and free breakfast to SPG members. This is valid on weekend stays in hotels and anytime stays in resort properties. Stays must be booked and completed through December 30, 2014. Find participating hotels/resorts and book here. Just be sure to price out rates on their own without the promo since these bundled rates can sometimes book out higher, so it’s worth crunching the numbers to make sure you’re getting the best rate.
Reminder-Gogo Offering 15% Off Your First Month When You Purchase AA/US Traveler Pass: Gogo is offering 15% off your first month when you purchase an AA/US Traveler Pass for $39.95. The pass offers unlimited internet on all equipped American Airlines and US Airways flights. Technically this means that for your first month, you will get a discount of $5.99, so your final price for your first month would be $33.96, followed by the $39.95 for the next months if you decide to continue. It’s easy cancel if you decide you don’t need it, you simply chat them to stop your subscription. You have from now until March 14, 2014 to take advantage of the offer, and as it seems they will be rising the prices after March 14, 2014. So if you decide to continue, and you want your rate locked in at $39.95 a month, now is a good time to sign up.
US Airways Adds Main Cabin Extra Seating In Economy: American announced they will add Main Cabin Extra seating on US Airway planes/flights. The special Main Cabin Extra seats are located the front of the main cabin with up to six inches of additional legroom to stretch out and relax. If you purchase these seats you will also receive Group 1 boarding. It’s unclear so far whether they’ll be pushing existing rows closer together or using a slimmer seat design to make room for Main Cabin Extra seating.
Etihad Guest Offers Status Matches Up To Gold Level: Etihad has a status match campaign for Gold or higher elites on other airlines running until February 22, 2014. Basically this means if you have gold status on another airline loyalty program, Etihad will match on in their program, Etihad Guest. To participate, sign up for the Etihad Guest if you are not yet a member. Then, email a scanned copy of your existing gold card from another loyalty program with your latest statement alongside your Etihad Guest number to email@example.com. Perks to being enrolled in the Gold program on Etihad are lounge access for you and your companion, 50% extra Etihad Guest Miles on flights and many other rewards you can read about here. You will also receive double miles in business and triple miles in first class for limited time after Etihad has processed your status match.
US Airways Moves To Terminal 3 At LAX And Will Shuttle Passengers To/From American Flights In Terminal 4: As of February 12, 2014 at LAX, AA and US Airways are offering shuttle buses to transport passengers in order to facilitate connections between the two airlines. US Airways will move from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 later this year, but Terminals 3 and 4 (the American terminal) are not very close, hence the shuttle option. The shuttles will run every 20 minutes, which isn’t very frequent, but walking between the terminals means you will have to go through security again, therefore making this new shuttle the preferred option.
Hilton HHonors Offers Two Separate Conrad/ Waldorf Astoria Promos That Can Be Used Together: The first of these promos is for nights booked and completed by December 31, 2014 and with it you get 2,000 bonus points per night, no limit on number of stays or nights. The other promotion is also valid for stays completed by December 31, 2014 and includes earning up to 10,000 bonus points for three stays (keep in mind this one is for stays, not nights). For one stay, you get 2,000 bonus points, the next stay 3,000 bonus points, and the 3rd stay 5,000 bonus points. These bonus points are not valid for elite status qualification, and both offers can be stacked.
IHG Offers 1,500 Bonus Points For A Stay: You can get 1,500 bonus points added on to your next stay at an IHG property. Register here using the promo code 4040 and make sure to complete your stay within 90 days of registering. You should receive the bonus points after your stay. Expiration date on this promotion is unclear.
