Virgin America announced a limited-time “Spring Fever” fare sale of 10-20% off flights from February 25 through April 3, 2014. You have to book by 4:00am PT January 30 (that’s tomorrow!).

140129_lp_promo-codeUse the promo code SPRING20 when booking. Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday flights get 10% off and Tuesday-Wednesday departures get 20% off.  The sale price is off the base fare, not the taxes, fees, etc. It can also only be applied to Main Cabin fares on itineraries of up to 2 people. Additional blackout dates are 3/21/14 – 3/22/14 and 3/28/14 – 3/29/14. Promo code may be used only towards newly booked travel and may not be applied to prior bookings.

While it’s not the hugest discount, it could still take a few bucks off and if you have travel on the airline that you can book now, you might as well get a discount.

Hey Brian. I wasn’t sure how to post a question any other way so i am sorry that this is in the wrong spot.

I was issued a Barclaycard Arrival about a month ago (I haven’t received my 1st statement). I then saw the 50,000 point offer on the new Barclay Hawaiian card and signed up for that but was denied. I was told that the only reason i was denied was because i had “sufficient credit”. i asked if they could split my Arrival limit in half to $7,500 on each with no success. With a 805 FICO score and about 8 credit cards and 15 years of history, can you give me any advise on how to get them to approve me? They told me to call back in 3 months as that 50,000 mile offer will still be available to me then.

thanks for any help you could provide, i really need those miles for a new years trip in December to Hawaii for my 1st wedding anniversary
