I’m excited to be heading to the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, this weekend, and on Monday, I announced a reader giveaway to celebrate.

Chase-Sundance-The prize was an Opening Day Package from Chase Ultimate Rewards Experiences that includes:

  • Two tickets to the Day One screening with premium, reserved seating and round-trip transportation between Hotel Park City and Eccles Theatre
  • Two tickets to a Day One Post-Screening Party with round-trip transportation between Hotel Park City and Legacy Lodge
  • Two Sundance Film Festival credentials, providing access to official festival venues, including the Sundance House, Filmmaker Lodge, New Frontier and Sundance ASCAP Music Café
  • Access to the Chase Sapphire dining concierge, who will help arrange dining reservations during your visit (based on availability)

All you had to do to enter was leave a comment telling me what your favorite movie of all time is and why. I got hundreds of entries – and lots of great films mentioned including every mileage junky’s favorite, Up in the Air! Once the entry period closed, we loaded all the comments and chose the following winner at random:

Justin: My favorite movie of all time is Inception, though as a SLC local, I try to participate in Sundance a bit each year. I’ve seen some amazing Sundance films that never made it out of the film festival circuit, unfortunately.

So congratulations to Justin. That’s a great film. Maybe I’ll see you in some of the screenings or out on the slopes, and thank you to all the rest of the readers who entered. We’re working on some more great giveaways this year, so stay tuned for awesome prizes and a lot of fun.

Thanks for the ticket package! Sundance is always so much fun, and hopefully I run into you as well!

  • Danielle

Sweet, give it to the guy who lives there and already goes every year. Great work TPG.

  • Bill

Danielle, please, it was random. Please don’t let your jealousy sour someone else’s experience.

FYI, most people who live in or near Park City have only had a peripheral experience at Sundance, and have never had access to any of the events or parties that are included in this prize package. So I don’t feel bad at all that it’s going to a local, no more than I would feel bad if a guy who lived next to the stadium wins Superbowl tickets.

  • Danielle

That is because you are an idiot and liberal David.

  • David Adams

Ok, so people who are smart and conservative get invited to all the Sundance parties. Thanks for clearing that up!

Congratulations Justin! You are going to have an awesome time!
