American Airlines has teamed up with its Oneworld partner Iberia to offer flyers up to 15,000 bonus American miles on Iberia flights from the US to Madrid this summer including 5,000 bonus miles on all economy tickets.
Register here with the promo MADIB, and then buy a roundtrip ticket on an Iberia flight (including those with AA flight numbers that are operated by Iberia) anytime now through September 15, 2013 for travel from Boston, Chicago or Los Angeles and you can earn between 5,000-15,000 bonus miles.
Business class tickets earn the full 15,000 mile bonus, full-fare Y class economy tickets earn 10,000 miles, and all economy fares earn 5,000 miles. What’s great about this is that though you have to purchase a business class fare for the full bonus, even discount economy fares earn 5,000 bonus miles as long as they’re published fares. For those flying from Boston, that almost amounts to double miles on this route
Per the T&C, this offer applies only to AAdvantage members who reside in the U.S. and purchase and fly on published fare tickets. Bonus miles will not count toward elite status qualification or Million Miler status. Bonus miles will be awarded based on the booking class purchased. Registration prior to travel is required.
