Here’s a recap of the interesting points and miles news from this week:
Earn Triple HawaiianMiles with Starwood in Hawaii: Hawaiian Airlines and Starwood have teamed up to offer HawaiianMiles members triple miles when staying at Starwood properties in Hawaii from now through December 20, 2013. In addition, customers can also save 30% off their stay when using rate plan EHA30. To be eligible, you must opt for the airline direct deposit earning option with Starwood and choose HawaiianMiles as your airline partner choice. The bonus miles should post 6-8 weeks after check-out to your HawaiianMiles account. Starwood has a decent presence in Hawaii with 11 properties on the following islands: Oahu, Maui, Kauai, or Hawaii Island. Normally you earn 2 miles per $1 you spend, but with this bonus it’s 6 miles per dollar, so for those of you who fly Hawaiian or its partners a lot this could be a good option, though personally, I’d rather earn Starpoints.
