Update: There is no current sign up bonus for the American Express Business Gold Rewards Card.

Last week I wrote about a great limited time offer from American Express on the Business Gold Rewads card- 75,000 points after $10,000 spent within the first four months. Per the T&C of the bonus offer, so if you were eying this card to pad your Membership Rewards account, you should pull the trigger soon.

I got in on this card when it was a one-day only offer last February and Amex periodically runs this offer, but with so many 100,000 point Platinum cards minuted this month and now a ton of new applicants with this week-long 75,000 point offer, they may slow down on offers for the rest of the year.     I recently got the PREMIER REWARDS GOLD CARD from american express which had 50k points for 1k spend. Can I get this Gold card as well?

    Yep- the only exclusion is if you’ve had a business Amex within the past 12 months. I applied for this 75k offer last year and had a premier rewards gold open at the time and I got the 75k

    I did this offer back during last spring. I can’t remember if I was having issues or not but I called them to take advantage of this offer.

    Got my AmEx Business Gold–For those of you who have had Membership Rewards for awhile . . . . Is there a certain site where you monitor what bonus deals are currently available for points transfers? I’ll probably transfer my 75,000 MR bonus points to Delta, but I’ll wait for a good transfer bonus offer.

    I got it and my points and have 93k points. My only problem is …. i didn’t check if I could redeem them for cash (cannot). There’s some sort of strange thing where you “apply” the points to certain charges (vs. the balance as a whole???) and you CAN get some gift cards $1 for $1 while others are like 2 pts per dollar or so….you CAN transfer to certain partners though…my only problem is I might not need them until after the anniversary date, hence the fee…has anyone else done anything creative to get the points used …? thanks much.
