Help Create The Points Guy Holiday Gift Guide For Travelers

Just in time for two of the craziest shopping days of the year – Black Friday and Cyber Monday – I’ve started putting together a 2012 The Points Guy Holiday Gift Guide For Travelers and I need your input! The 2011 guide included everything from luggage and toiletries to travel art, stationery, wine clubs and more. After flying 200,000+ miles this year so far, I definitely have a lot of ideas for what to get my fellow travelers, but I want to hear your thoughts, so please comment below on what you would like to see included on the gift guide, the kinds of presents you would love to receive as travelers, and what you’re planning to buy the frequent flyers in your life.

    You can’t travel without taking good pictures to remember the trip by! I’m thinking of picking up the Samsung Galaxy Camera for future travel. It’s a camera with Android built-in, so you can take pictures, edit and upload all from the device. Plus it looks great; it’s definitely a conversation starter.

    Lets you pack a bunch of movies (for you, or the kids) on a Wi-Fi accessible device, that you can watch on your iPhone/iPad without having to use up all of its local storage for the function. You can expand the storage with a cheap SD card.

    You can also use it to take the SD card out of your camera and then access those photos on the road from your iPhone, iPad. Download, view them, whatever.

    A nice addition.

    I’m getting the Frequent Flyers in my life (my brother and sister-in-law) an Internet Password Organizer- it’s not something they’ll want to travel with but I think they’ll love it to organize all of their passwords!
