This is just a friendly reminder that Quarter 3 of 2012 is coming to an end on September 30, so Chase Freedom cardholders have just one more day to max out the $1,500 in quarterly spend where they can earn 5 points per $1 on certain merchant categories.

The Q3 categories this time around included restaurants and gas stations, so if you haven’t gotten up to the $1,500 limit yet, you have just one more day to do so. Take some friends out for dinner, or if you’re still a ways away from meeting the $1,500 cap, then consider heading to your nearest gas station store and buying some gift cards – they tend to carry gift cards from major merchants like Target, Amazon, Best Buy and more, so you should be able to use them towards purchases you’d be making anyway.

Also remember to register your card for the Q4 category spend bonuses including hotels, airlines, Best Buy and Kohl’s, which become active immediately on October 1 and keep earning those 5x bonuses.

Chase Freedom®

It's a stellar Cash Back card on its own, but when paired with the Chase Sapphire Reserve or Chase Sapphire Preferred, the Freedom's 5x Category Bonuses let you rack up Chase Ultimate Rewards Points, transferrable to partners or redeemable via the portal.
