Last week, I posted a contest where one lucky reader could win 50,000 Marriott Rewards points by playing Marriott’s “What’s Your Travel Type” Facebook game where members to choose one of six grand prizes tailored to their personal travel tastes and preferences and then commenting on my blog post.
Well, I got nearly 1,000 responses over the course of three days, so thanks to everyone who participated, but now it’s time to announce the lucky reader:
Congratulations to Jane Chu who was chosen at random using random.org to receive the 50,000 Marriott Rewards points!
Here was her comment:
“Luxury Lover! Because I’m a luxury lover! What better way to get away and enter into a state of bliss for 5 nights! I’d probably go to one of the JW Marriotts in Thailand — Thai massages, yummy food and peaceful workouts, what better way to enjoy the luxury, and have your dollar go far?”
Sounds pretty good to me! The Luxury Lover package was a popular choice among commenters, and I had actually mentioned in my original post that I would have chosen the Luxury Lover package as well – though the fact that Jane won with her answer was a total coincidence since she was selected randomly. The Luxury Lover package includes:
- 6 day / 5 night stay at any JW Marriott worldwide for winner + guest
- 500,000 Rewards points to convert to airline miles
- Daily spa treatments
- Private consultation with resident nutritionist & fitness expert
- $2,500 in spending money
But remember, that’s just one of six different packages you could win – and you can enter once each day now through August 31 – so if you haven’t entered yet, you can do so here. And good luck!
