Delta is running a July 4th sale on flights to London. In order to take advantage of round-trip BusinessElite fares to London-Heathrow (LHR) from select U.S. cities for $1,776  you must book today, July 4, 2011 and travel before September 11, 2012.

I bet other carriers will match, so even if you don’t fly Delta, check your preferred carrier for similar fares.

Must book today, July 4, to take advantage of these fares.

Or, enjoy Economy Class tickets for half the price ($888*). These limited-time sale fares are available at from the following cities:
Atlanta, GA (ATL)
Boston, MA (BOS)
Chicago-O’Hare, IL (ORD)
Dallas-Fort Worth, TX (DFW)
Detroit-Wayne County, MI (DTW)
Houston-Intercontinental, TX (IAH)
Los Angeles, CA (LAX)
Memphis, TN (MEM)
New York-Kennedy, NY (JFK)
Philadelphia, PA (PHL)
San Francisco, CA (SFO)
Washington-Dulles, DC (IAD)

I think the best deal is Los Angeles to London at $1,777 total! Even the $888 can be a steal, since $1,000+ Europe fares have been all too common this summer.

LAX-LHR for $1777 for BusinessElite on Delta.

SFO-LHR for only $889 all summer.

JFK-LHR for $1777 for BusinessElite.

I would have been really pissed had we kept the 80,000 Avios + $1600 in taxes + companion pass club world tickets from east coast -> LHR given this sale.

Haven’t looked at the fare constructs yet but do these the crippling departure taxes?
