US Airways is offering a limited-time sale of $30 fares from Washington National Airport (DCA) to six cities. Here are the details:
Book today by 4PM ET. Travel between September 4 – 13, 2012. There are only 30 seats each way in each market!
Fort Walton Beach (VPS)
Little Rock (LIT)
Jackson, MS (JAN)
There are only 30 seats each way in each market so you have to book fast and you have to search the right dates. You must book on usairways.com. Fares are one way (and do not require a roundtrip purchase). These fares may not be combined with any other discounts. Travel vouchers, future travel awards or air checks will not be accepted. Tickets are non-refundable and a minimum $150 fee (plus any difference in fare) will be charged if any changes are made. Checked bag fees may apply. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights. Part or all of the service may be provided by US Airways Express (operated by Air Wisconsin, Chautauqua, Mesa, Piedmont, PSA, Republic and Trans States).
Though this offer is limited in several ways–both in terms of the number of fares on sale and the dates of travel, I did a quick search for DCA-Tallahassee in September and found one of the special fares no problem, even on a roundtrip (meaning I’d been able to snag one of the 30 seats in each direction).
So you should still be able to find fares floating around. And though this is a rather specific sale, if you happen to have some travel coming up in the southeast this fall, or were planning to head to Washington and want to add on a little side trip somewhere in that part of the country, this could be a good way to save a little extra cash.
