Reminder: Win 22,000 Free Hyatt Points!

On Monday I wrote about a chance to win a bunch of Hyatt Gold Passport points as part of the buzz they are trying to create around their current promotion. You have until 11:59pm EST today to enter to win one of three sets of 22,000 Hyatt points. It’s simple to enter: simply guess which Hyatt hotel I’ll be staying at this weekend. You can submit three guesses – one per each of the following methods:

1) Comment on my original blog post
2) Follow me on Twitter and tweet me @thepointsguy with your guess
3) Like The Points Guy on Facebook and write your guess on my Wall.

    I know this comment is out of place on this particular blog entry, but was wondering what your latest intel was in regards the RealtyTrac promotion. I called to cancel my account and they claimed they had sent me a cancellation notice already (they hadn’t) and said that the promotion was unauthorized and was put on by “a 3rd party website and thePointsGuy.” Just thought you should know that is what they are telling customers…

    I also called them yesterday to cancel and they said that my account had AUTOMATICALLY been canceled because I signed up through the BA promotion. I asked for a confirmation email but the agent only had a confirmation number I could write down.

    I did get a call from a RealtyTrac sales guy today to try and sell me on renewing my account. Once I said I was only in it for the miles he couldn’t get off the phone fast enough.

    I think one anniversary night is missing per the credit card offer.
    this is what I did with my 2 anywhere free nights and one anniversary night:

    2 nights at Park Hyatt Buenos Aires and one night Grand hyatt at San Diago Chile.. sweet all i paid was $75 membership fees.. I am now Platinum member status sweet.

    anyway Hyatt card is nice card to have !!
