Amazing Deal Alert: Star Alliance Fares to Brussels from $232 Total Roundtrip

Vayama.com is currently running a sale on European fares and several savvy Slickdeal and Flyertalk members have uncovered super cheap fares to Brussels from multple US cities including NYC, Boston, Washington, Chicago and LA.

I plugged in a random date and got $337 total, which is pretty good for European fares these days. Even if you don’t want to go to Brussels, it’s centrally located enough to be able to Eurostar or get cheap flights to other European destinations. Be sure to check that the fare code you book earns miles in your preferred Star Alliance frequent flyer program. Star Alliance dictates that the fare rules of the operating carrier determine whether you earn miles or not.

I haven’t played around with this too much, but feel free to share your finds.

    They’re doing an extra $40 off dates in Feb. thru an affiliate link (I have the link on my site, I’m guessing others have it too) so I found $267 DCA-BRU President’s day weekend.

    Why wouldn’t you send this out as an alert to your paid members first? We paid for a year and I think that we’ve gotten 2 deal emails since.

    How’d you get the system to discount the $40? I thought vayama said it would automatically discount the $40 at checkout, but I am not getting it to come through for some reason.

    That is a pretty awesome deal. I just searched IAD-BRU on President’s Day weekend and came up with a $432 fare (UX to YUL and then AC to BRU). return goes on AC to YUL and via YOW. So it’s more connections. But still a reasonable enough fare I think if I had the time to go!

    I’m not finding the cheap fares once I click the dates – but on Kayak monthly calendar it shows the low fares for those dates –confused…which dates/days are you seeing the low fares for?

    Just got off the phone with both Air Canada and Brussels Airlines. Both airlines had no problem assigning me seats for my flights, and Air Canada recognized that I got an amazing deal as a lot of people have been calling in. (I got the above itinerary for $277 ai.)

    If you have only 2 days don’t go to Bruges. There is plenty to see and do in Brussels in 2 days and personally I don’t think Bruges is that great.

    Actually, we’re spending five nights in Bruges (f….ng) Bruges as per Colin Farrell. Can’t wait for June. And $696 RT too.
