I’m a big fan of Tumi luggage, but I’m not a fan of paying full price for it. I always get my Tumi goods deeply discounted and even though it’s still not cheap, I don’t mind paying for quality. In fact, I’ve had my trusty T-tech rollerboard for almost 4 years. She’s showing some signs of wear and tear, but I like my luggage to have a little character!

My trusty Tumi is one of my favorite discount online sites and they just launched a Tumi sale. You need to act fast because the good stuff sells out quick. Ruelala is an invite only site, but you can sign-up here with my link (disclosure: I get credit if you actually buy something).

As with all merchandise, shop around and make sure you are actually getting a good deal. Also, once you sign-up, make sure you click through your shopping portal to make any purchases – for example AAdvantage E-Shopping will give you 3 miles per dollar spent – not bad! Just search for Rue La La in the search box and then click through to make your purchases.

Double dip!

Your trusted Tumi is looking pretty bad!! Time for a new one!

I understand that you get credit if someone buys TUMI based on your post. However, I’ve owned TUMI luggage before, and I really wasn’t pleased. It didn’t last, and they wouldn’t warranty any damage done by the airlines. IMO, Briggs and Riley is a much better brand, and the only one I know of that actually warrants against ANY and ALL damage.

…or Eagle Creek. I like the look of their bags over Tumi or B&R and they have several affordable lines with the same Unlimited any-time warranty.

Thanks for the heads up on this Brian. As I was traveling today, I may have missed it. There are certainly some good bargains to be had – I like the new softsided luggage. If anyone may not want to use your sign up link, they can certainly use mine

Thanks for posting! I’ve been meaning to get a new briefcase for months now… and just did.

I wish I could sign in. Ruelala won’t take my zip code. Any ideas?

Sorry, Susan. I call “rude” for posting your referral link on Brian’s blog. Anyone who doesn’t want to use Brian’s link (can’t imagine why not) can simply go straight to ruelala.

Agree with Frank on the Brigg & Riley thumbs up…

Mine is twelve years old now and they will still fix ANYTHING that goes wrong for free – even airline damage.

    Best luggage I’ve ever had.
