Just a Friendly Reminder to Get Email AApraisal

Just a quick reminder that you can get up to 3,000 AA miles just for signing up for their emails. This deal ends next week, so I thought I’d remind any of you procrastinators!

See full details here. The miles won’t post for a couple months, but it’s a pretty easy/free way to get some miles, so you shouldn’t complain :-) Let’s just hope they post before AA changes their Million Miler Program on December 1, 2011.

    I like how AA values their miles at almost $0.10 each. Their rules state that the approximate retail value of the “gift” is $49.75 per 500 miles. I’d like to “gift” my miles back to AA at that price!

    Is it really taking 4.5 months for these miles to be posted to people’s accounts?

    “Approximate retail value of Gift is $49.75 for each 500 AAdvantage® bonus miles. To be eligible to receive any Gift, participant must keep each subscription(s) and preferences for a three (3) month period. Gift will be automatically deposited into the participant’s AAdvantage® account six (6) weeks after the end of each applicable three (3) month email enrollment period.”
