Today’s deal in AAdvantage’s “30 Deals in 30 Days” promotion is a 30% off coupon for Admirals Club membership when you use promo code AADV30 at checkout. It looks like this code will be good until June 13, 2011.
Yearly membership for non-elites starts at $500 and is as low as $350 for Executive Platinum members.
However, instead of paying this fee, I’d rather pay $450 and get the American Express Platinum Card, which gives Admirals Club access when flying on AA, though only Admiral’s club members get complimentary wifi. The Platinum card also has a ton of other benefits like the ability to get reimbursed for up to $200 a year in airline credits (including AA gift cards if you choose AA as your airline), free Global Entry, Delta, US Airways, Continental (Until Sept 30, 2011), Alaska and Priority Pass Select lounge access 25,000 bonus points for first time members. For a full review of the Platinum Card, check out this post.
