Is it just me, or does it seem like credit card sign-up bonuses are increasing across the board? It appears so and I’m certainly not complaining!

Several savvy TPG readers alerted me to the new 50,000 point bonus for the Chase Marriott Premier Visa, which is over double the normal offering. The annual fee is $85, but in addition to the points, you also get:
1) A free night upon account activation (up to category 4)
2) Free night upon account renewal each year
3) 15 nights towards elite status

If you are a Marriott customer, this card will most likely pay for itself many times over. Note, this is a Chase card, so if you’ve recently applied for the 100,000 miles bonus on the British Airways Visa, you may want to wait at least a month before applying for another Chase card.

As someone who wants to apply to this, the Chase Continental card, and the BA card, which order should I go in? I’m thinking: 1- BA, 2- CO, and 3- Marriott, right? For some reason, I remember the BA card offer expiring soon. Thoughts?

Definitely do BA first- that’s slated to end May 6, but could end sooner. Then wait a month or two before going for the next- either this or Continental

I could be wrong, but doesn’t the Continetnal offer expire in May as well?

I signed up for the Marriott card last month when the promo was only 30,000 points but I just checked my account tonight and I received 50,000 points for my first purchase bonus!!! I love when things work out for me like this!

It seems to me this card pays for itself, considering the free night each year upon renewal for $65, even outside of the bonus points.

If I applied for the Chase BA card in late February (first purchase on 2/28), do you think enough time has elapsed to apply for this card?

    Thanks for your thoughts

If I already have a Chase Marriott Premier Visa, (which I upgraded to from a ‘regular’ card), can I apply for a second Premier Visa and get more points and perks? (assuming my credit score allows for the approval) ???

Is it possible to apply for multiple Chase credit cards at once? Perhaps using the multi-browser “trick”? These 3: Sapphire Preferred + Continental + Marriott Premier VISA.

On the original article it says the fee is $65 but on the link it says $85 which is the correct fee (waived first year).

    Thanks! Will update.
