I’m a big fan of online discounter They often heavily discount top brands as well as travel packages, including their current “Trips of a Lifetime” offering, which seems like a good deal for anyone who wants to buy a vacation package. These packages include pretty much everything but flights, so if you redeem some miles you could have a pretty incredible vacation on the cheap.

The site is invite only, but you can sign up for free using my invitation link. Even if you don’t want to buy this trip now, I recommend signing up – I’ve gotten tons of discounts on apparel and luggage.

Tell your friend in Madrid to give us some extra tapas after signing up for this:-) We will try to track down his restaurant!

  • The Points Guy

Tell them Jorge and Lori sent you- you’ll get hooked up!

  • Michael

How do you calculate the value of these deals? What’s your process?

  • The Points Guy

Michael- its different for everyone. For a lot of people, just having something planned out is valuable since planning a vacation to a new country can be extremely time consuming.
I don’t personally book packages because Trip planning is fun for me and I leverage a huge cache of points and miles and a network of global friends to do it on the cheap.

In any case- these packages may not be for everyone, but they seemed like a good deal to me.
