I posted about the 1,000 point Delta/Fedex offer in January: 1,000 free SkyMiles just for signing up for their service (no purchase necessary). There was some confusion about having to send shipments, but I can confirm it does not require any shipments or purchases. My miles just posted without any prompting :-)

Link to sign up.

This offer is good until March 31, 2011 so get in on it before its too late!

What type of account do you need to sign up for? There were three accounts. Can I sign up for the free account or do I need to put a credit card in?

    These posted quickly (for Delta)!

Mine did too – but still no 10,000 points on the Hilton HHonors promotion despite my e-mails. They just ignore…was worth the try though!

I signed up when you first posted and I haven;t received the miles. Can you tell us the steps you took? I created and account but didn;t put any credit card information was that something you did? Wondering if its needed to get the miles?

I did this promo and the 1,000 miles posted 7 weeks later. You do have to enter credit card information but they do not charge you.

I actually ended up shipping one package (which of course does charge your credit card) and I received 524 miles. The original promo letter said you would receive an additional 500 miles after you send your first package so I’m not sure where 524 came from, but I’ll take it!

Lauren — I think it was 500 miles plus 2 or 3 points per dollar so the 24 were the extra points for your spending.

    Hope that helps

Just found this post… I’m new. Tried it out even though the expiration date had passed. I was able to sign up with my existing FedEx account and I’ll be earning SkyMiles just for using Fedex as I normally do – Thanks PG!
